KAZUHIRO HIYAMA

Chief of Advanced Cancer Medicine Division

KAZUHIRO HIYAMA KAZUHIRO HIYAMA

As a gastrointestinal surgeon, I have been involved in the treatment of numerous cancer patients both domestically and internationally. My practice spans a wide range of cancers, including head and neck cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, gynecological cancer, prostate cancer, and sarcomas.

The knowledge I gained in pharmacy and biochemistry at the University of Tokyo has been immensely beneficial in cancer chemotherapy and diagnosis. Additionally, during my studies in the United States, I learned about liver and multi-organ transplants, further honing my skills in American-style cancer treatment.

These extensive knowledge, experience, and achievements in cancer treatment led to my appointment as the Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Atago Hospital of Shin-Matsuda Association in Kochi City. There, I established the "Cutting-Edge Cancer Outpatient Clinic," attracting patients not only from Shikoku but also from Kanto and Osaka.

In 2024, I became the Director of the Cancer Advanced Medical Department at the Tokyo Ginza Wellness & Aging Clinic. Our mission goes beyond treating cancer patients to include creating bodies that do not develop cancer, detecting and controlling cancer at its earliest stages, and preventing recurrence.

At our clinic’s "Cancer Future Advanced Outpatient Clinic," we have introduced the most precise and advanced cancer tests, such as Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) and Circulating Tumor Cells (CTC) tests, to promote early cancer detection and personalized treatment.

Our goal is to formulate the optimal treatment strategy for each patient and respond swiftly, thereby increasing the success rate of treatments and minimizing the burden on patients.

We are dedicated to protecting the health of our patients and ensuring they can receive treatment with peace of mind.
Please feel free to consult our clinic.
